
We are glad to introduce a new feature in ClickAdilla — Smart Retargeting. This tool is designed to help advertisers improve efficiency by working smarter with users who have already converted. Note: The feature is currently available only for In-Page ad campaigns with postbacks enabled.
How it works
When a user completes a conversion, ClickAdilla automatically tags this traffic and saves it into an audience list. Advertisers can then use this audience in two ways: exclude it from future campaigns or retarget it with new offers.
Why this matters
In performance marketing, precision is key. Without audience management, advertisers often continue showing the same offer to users who have already converted, leading to repeating impressions and lower ROI. With Smart Audience Retargeting, you gain more control over where your ads are shown and to whom
Key scenarios
Excluding converters:
If you do not want to spend budget on users who have already completed the desired action, simply add the audience list to your campaign as a blacklist. This ensures your ads focus only on new prospects.
Retargeting converters:
If you want to present an upsell, special promotion, or a new offer to users who already engaged with your product, you can run a separate campaign using this audience as a whitelist.
⚠️ Important: when using a whitelist, do not apply additional audience targeting filters (such as GEO, device, or browser). Since the list is already narrow, extra filters can leave you with little or no traffic.
